Prescription Universe (RxU) Onboarding Guide-ALL4IBD research program


Prescription Universe (RxUniverse) is a digital health automation platform for care providers to prescribe appointment reminders, directions, apps, surveys, care plans, and health education content at the point of care.

Onboarding Process Overview


1. Login:


  • The Rx.Health team will create the required login accounts to access the Prescription Universe platform. 
  • A confirmation email with login credentials will be sent to the user along with the default password. 
  • Please use https://prescriptionuniverse.org in a web browser (we recommend Chrome) to log in.
  • Input your username and default password. You will be prompted immediately to reset the password.


A. Reset the password immediately.Upon reset of the password

  1. Enter the username (your email) provided for initial login.
  2. Type in your new password for login (Note: It should be a minimum of 8 characters, have one uppercase character, have at least one number, and one special character) and click on "Submit". 


Reset password

  1. You can reset your password from the login page. or 
  2. Email support@rx.health or 
  3. Reset from the "Profile" tab in the platform



B. Login with the new password created:


  • Enter your username (1) and new password (2), created.

  • Select Profile in the left Column and Click on Change password (1) to reset your password after logging in.


2. customize the toolkit.


Select pathways as favorites:


Under the "All" tab on the home page

  1. Use the search bar to find appropriate apps by name or specialty.
  2. Add apps/assets to my toolkit for quick access by clicking the "❤️" – this will move them into the “My Toolkit”.
  3. Click on the "Rx" button to prescribe the PAT pathways.


3. One-to-One Prescription from the Platform


List of assets curated for the ALL4IBD program 

  1. Colonoscopy prep program

1. Enter the patient's MRN number.

2. Enter the patient’s mobile phone.

3. Enter the patient's email address.

4. Enter the patient’s first and last name.

5. Optional: check the box to enter the mobile phone number of the caregiver; So they will receive the same instructions as the patient. 

6. Select an appointment date and time.

7. Click Prescribe


B. ALL4IBD-Enrollment form:


1. Enter the patient's MRN number.

2. Enter the patient’s mobile phone.

3. Enter the patient's email address.

4. Enter the patient’s first and last name.

5. Select the type of IBD. 

6. Select the date of birth from the drop-down menu.

7. Select the physician's name. 

8. Optional: check the box to enter the mobile phone number of the caregiver; So they will receive the same instructions as the patient.

9. Click Prescribe


c) ALL4IBD- Baseline survey nudge:


1. Enter the patient's MRN number.

2. Enter the patient’s mobile phone.

3. Enter the patient's email address.

4. Enter the patient’s first and last name.

5. Select the date of birth from the drop-down menu.

6. Select the physician's name. 

7. Optional: check the box to enter the mobile phone number of the caregiver, so they will receive the same instructions as the patient. 

8. Click Prescribe


d) ALL4IBD- FAQ:


1. Enter the patient's MRN number.

e) ALL4IBD- Digital readiness tool:

1. Enter the patient's MRN number.

2. Enter the patient’s mobile phone.

3. Enter the patient's email address.

4. Enter the patient’s first and last name.

5. Select the date of birth from the drop-down menu.

6. Select the physician name patient will be enrolled during the course of the program.

7. Optional: check the box to enter the mobile phone number of the caregiver; so they will receive the same instructions as the patient. 

8. Click Prescribe


4. Custom Dashboard:


Mount Sinai ALL4IBD Dashboard


Step 1: Click on Custom Dashboard to view all the dashboards. 

Please choose UO1 Enrollment Dashboard (Mount Sinai ALL4IBD Dashboard).


 Step 2:

1. Enrollment Status: It can be used to search one or multiple different enrollment statuses and type in the patient lists. It's reflects at 6th Column with under Patient Enrollment Status.

a) Not clicked - If Prescribed patient does not click on the survey and fills up the 1st page of survey to fill the survey, the Enrollment status appears as Not clicked

b) Clicked - If the Prescribed patient clicks on the survey and fills up the 1st page of survey to fill the survey, the Enrollment status appears as clicked

c) Opted Out - If the enrolled patient fills in the initial survey for eligibility and does not Consent after reviewing the e-consent is shown as Opted Out

d) Ineligible - If an enrolled patient fills in the initial survey for eligibility and does not fulfill the required Criteria to be eligible to be part of the program is shown as Ineligible.   

e) Eligible -If an enrolled patient fills in the initial survey for eligibility and fulfill the required Criteria to be eligible to be part of the program is shown as Eligible.  

f) Filled e-consent - Once the patient is eligible for the survey after filling the initial survey and giver e-consent will be shown as a Filled e-consent.

g) Filled baseline survey - After filling e-consent, the patient can fill in the baseline survey to collect more information on the IBD status of patient. Once the patient fills in these surveys the status is shown as Filled baseline survey.


2. Enrollment Type: It shows different channel by which patients gets enrolled to the program - Bulk Prescription, Text to enroll, One to One. Its reflected in the 7th Column under Enrollment type. It can be used to search patient based on prescription type.

a) Bulk Prescription - Its done from the RxU Platform where patient gets enrolled by getting prescribed for toolkit created for the facility

3. Mount Sinai ALL4IBD Dashboard:

It has check box with Patient Details (Name, MRN and date of birth, Phone number and Email address), Type if IBD patient is enrolled/suffering from, Treating physician name, Patient Enrollment status, Enrollment Type, Digital readiness, Gift card Received status, Prescription Date, Gift card detail manual, Alerts.

a) Patient Details: These are mentioned in first three column with Patient name in first column, Patient Hospital MRN number with Date of birth details in second column, P


4. Prescribing from dashboard:

1. Select the clinical Pathway

2. Select type of IBD

3. Enter the patient’s mobile phone

4. Enter the patient’s first name

5. Enter the patient’s last name

6. Enter the patient's MRN number.

7. Select the Date of birth as per month, date and year

8. Enter the patient's Email address

9. Select the physician name patient will be enrolled during the course of the program.

10. Click Prescribe to start digital program to the patient.


5. Patient details review from dashboard:

Click on patient details to review more details from dashboard to view - Messages received by patient with reply's, Survey details filled by the patients and consent, Patients notes entered by care team.

b) UO1 Enrollment Dashboard

Step 1: Click on the Custom Dashboard and Open UO1 Enrollment Dashboard (Program level dashboard for project UO1 (ALL4IBD).


Step 2:1. Change Days to review from Last 30 days and All Time patient enrollment details.

2. Show number Number if Patient Enrolled and Enrollment Goals (Till EOW)

3. Outreach Summary: Shows Number of Bulk Prescriptions, One to One and Test to Enroll with Number if patient who have been reached out (Prescriptions sent), Patient Who Have Not clicked on the link provided for survey (Not Clicked), Patient who did not want to be part of the program (Opted Out). The total numbers which includes all channel of prescription with respect to different Outreach methods will be mentioned in the last row.

4. Enrollment status summary: Its a table showing Different Channel (Bulk Prescriptions, One to One and Test to Enroll) with the status of patients enrollment with the program showing - Total Screened, Passed Screening, Filled e-Consent, Filled Baseline survey, Digitally Ready). The Total of all the status with all different channel is mentioned in the last row.



5. How to Send General Patient  Education Content:



1. Click on the education content toggle button. This will show the full searchable library of education tools.

2. Simply search for the topic as you would in any search engine.

3. Prescribe the desired educational content (sent as a URL link) to a patient’s phone as you normally would.


6. How to Submit a Help Request:


1. Click on the "Help" button on the left-hand panel

2. Select the query type (Troubleshoot, Suggestion, or Other)

3. Fill in a short description of the query
